About Me
Richard Lindstrom Ph.D. was born in Cambridge, MA he is a Psychologist, Amateur Historian, Veteran, Rotarian, Author, businessman, speaker, and trainer. You can expect to be entertained, educated, and amused by Richard’s books. Richard attended Boston University and did doctoral research with the late Dr. Richard Herristein from Harvard. Dr. Lindstrom is a Fellow of the American Stress Institute. He is the founder of the Psychological Stress Foundation. Richard has helped organizations deal with the stress associated with the workplace including sales, marketing, productivity, and profit improvement. He has also helped many executives deal with the personal issues of stress and the pressures of performance achievement, violence in the workplace, leadership, and business. Richard has spent over 30 years working with Employee Stress, Families, Values and Domestic Violence.
My Approach
Dr. Lindstrom's approach is focused on personal responsibility, making positive choices, and motivating clients toward personal accountability. He encourages individuals to understand that their behaviors are a result of their choices, and by changing those choices, they can improve their circumstances. It emphasizes accepting the client's existing situation, controlling their environment, and taking action toward positive outcomes through responsible decision-making.
